Some fanart reccs - Balthier

I can't quite put my finger on it but this pic looks like Ffamran is writhing inside of him - you don't often see serious Balthier, so I really liked this. The gun across his lap suggests he is waiting for an enemy; the bottle in his hand suggests that maybe half of that enemy is himself.

 

How much does Dr Cid look like his son here? I love the idea of some softness to them before things got put in motion. I can quite imagine Cid to be sentimental.



And this is just the epitome of Balthier to me: the bohemian lounging, it isn't for the wealth attitude with lashings of narcissism and a petulant air - but still attached to his old world, if tenuously. Plus, it just made me smile:
