Tonight is a cursed night.

 One old friend and his girlfrend have miscarried their kid. I've managed to talk another friend out of seriously self harming herself. Another pair of friends have broken up and I've an exam and a piece of coursework to do for tomorrow. Well, later today.

All this within two hours of each other. I'm just going to sit and cry at my keyboard a little.

Poor, poor people. Days like this, I'm so sick of the adult world and the adult pain.

Uh... mixed. Uni has begun, and I'm kinda ambivalent about it. It's certainly an interesting experience and I am learning things (THIS JUST IN: SOME AMERICAN PEOPLE HAVE CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASE), but two out of my four classes suck, my tutorials are boring as hell, my textbooks are just expensive doorstops right now, and my timetable sucks.

How are the people? Been hit on furiously by hoards of fangirls yet? :p but aw, I'm sure you'll catch the swing of it as it goes on. In what form does he suckage take?

The people are quite nice, although I don't have any fangirls. There's a lot of Asians (from Malaysia, Vietnam, China, etc), however the vast majority speak good-to-excellent English, are very friendly, and are sure to become outstanding citizens.

I welcome their presence greatly, especially since a lot of them are doing Nursing degrees! If there's one occupation of which there can never be enough, it's nurses.
